The resort’s 6-passenger gondola lift, which was commissioned back in 1987, will now be replaced by a modern 10-passenger gondola system. The GD10 Rosskopf gondola lift is being built along the exact same route, including the well-known crossing of the Brenner Autobahn, and will visually symbolize the modernization and upgrading of the entire region. New buildings around the lift will create additional architectural highlights. Furthermore, this new gondola lift will include new top and bottom terminals, the latter accommodating the new offices of Sterzing’s tourism association. Thanks to Leitner DirectDrive, the ropeway will be eco-friendly, easy to maintain, low-noise, and resource-efficient.
And it boasts some other great features as well: for example, the new Diamond EVO premium cabins which are super-comfortable to sit in and offer an amazing all-round visual experience.
