This 6-seater chairlift runs from the Fimba valley, from an altitude of 1,924 m, up to Mount Palinkopf at 2,848 m above sea level – the highest point of the Ischgl ski area. This means that the Gampenbahn climbs a vertical height of almost one kilometer, which makes it the 6-seater bubble chairlift with the world’s biggest vertical rise. Despite this huge difference in altitude, the trip up to the summit terminal on the Palinkopf takes only about eight minutes.
