Carabiner fixations are used to hold carabiners in place. They are used when carabiners are to be held permanently in a predefined position in the end terminations of energy absorbers, in webbing, ropes, or eyelets of hardware. Carabiner fixations consist of rubber bands or rubber and lend themselves to a variety of uses.
