Boom hoist rope

More and more goods are transported worldwide, which is an increasing challenge for port terminal operators, especially where ship to shore cranes are used. The volume to be loaded and unloaded demands highly efficient cranes and in consequence highly efficient boom hoist ropes.  Quick and safe workflows call for TEUFELBERGER high performance steel wire ropes as boom hoist rope meeting supreme reliability standards, which are reflected in a very high economic efficiency in operation throughout the long service life.

TEUFELBERGER boom hoist ropes - tried and tested

Teufelberger offers 8-strand high performance steel wire ropes that are successfully used on ship to shore cranes. Regardless of whether used on super post panamax or panamax cranes, the TEUFELBERGER range of products offers the right rope with highest quality standards for each crane type.

Plastfill®makes the difference

Our high performance steel wire ropes are provided with a plastic impregnated steel core that ensures safety and corrosion protection throughout the rope’s service life.

SUPERFILL® reduces wear

Due to the SUPERFILL® technology, a proven smooth compaction method developed by TEUFELBERGER, our hoist ropes feature extraordinary lifetimes. Wear is minimized because of the round rope surface and therefore reduced surface pressure is caused. Perfectly suitable in connection with multilayer spooling.

The 8-strand rope can be produced either galvanized or bright. On special request also high performance 6 strand ropes can be offered.
