For harsh work environments, we have developed a special static rope: PLATINUM® Offshore Access.
This static rope is certified to EN 1891A and features extremely low elongation and very good breaking loads. Other advantages of this rope include its UV resistance, salt water resistance, and good abrasion resistance in its dry and wet conditions. Furthermore, its innovative color combination ensures excellent visibility.
The characteristics of the polyester/polyamide fiber combination in conjunction with our Platinum® technology result in a rope that is perfectly suited as a work rope for offshore use, for example on wind turbines.
PLATINUM Offshore Access 10,5 mm:
- certified with PETZL ASAP (B7, B71AAA, B071AA00), only with ASAP Sorber 20+40 or Absorbica according to EN 353-2
- certified with PETZL ASAP LOCK (B071BAA00) in use with ASAP’SORBER AXESS according to EN 353-2
