FAQs

You have a question? We have the answer.

Start with the application: static access, rescue, or industrial rigging.

Our Safety & Rescue Ropes cover IRATA / SPRAT work positioning and rescue, while Industrial Ropes are optimised for heavier loads and abrasive structures. If you’re unsure, our technical team can match rope diameter, sheath construction and certification to your exact task.

Every access line is independently tested and CEcertified to EN 1891. Some products are also EN 341 (as marked), EN 358 (for work positioning systems) or EN 363 (for fall arrest systems) certified. Many models also hold NFPA 1983, ANSI Z359 or UIAA labels for global compliance—details are printed on the rope label and in the brainBOX data sheet.

Use the Dealer Locator to find authorised partners for sales and annual PPE inspection.

With a mechanical connection between the core and the cover it reduces sheath slippage and enhances safety. For more information check out our PLATIUMUN® Protect XG PES/PA rope.
