With the publication of our new sustainability report, we show how we put this responsibility into practice.

Regardless of the final Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), we are excited to share even more about our sustainability strategy and initiatives. For us, sustainability is much more than a reporting obligation – we have been intensively working on numerous topics for many years and are continuously implementing new measures.

Our ESG focus areas

Environment (E)

• Expanding circularity
  e.g. through our recycling program for fibre ropes or strapping bands: “better.collect” initiative

• CO₂ reduction & renewable energy
  Upgrading of production equipment, expansion of photovoltaic systems at our sites, purchase of renewable energy, conversion of the company fleet

• More sustainable materials & processes
  Expansion of recycling & use of resource-saving materials and processes, conversion of packaging

Social (S)

• Fair working conditions & equal opportunities

  Programs such as “Teufelberger for Family” support our employees

• Further training & development
  Our apprentice academy develops young talent in a targeted manner

  are our top priority

  We implement employee feedback through a group-wide, scientifically supported, regular employee survey
