New ropeway rope Solitec® XD and digital monitoring tool - premiere at Interalpin 2025
With Solitec® XD and AIM monitoring, we are setting new standards for ropeway systems and closing a gap in our product portfolio
:quality(80))
Solitec XD has been specially optimized for use in urban ropeways and covers all ropeway types - from classic urban installations and ropeways to excursion destinations through to rail-bound variants. Reduced noise emissions, longer life cycles and digital real-time inspection, increase comfort, availability and planning reliability for operators.
VORTEILE SOLITEC® XD

AIM: Alliance for monitoring and defect detection
In addition to Solitec® XD, we also presented the alliance with the AI professionals from Raidyn and the MRI experts from AMC Instruments at INTERALPIN. Raidyn is the software partner for visual rope recognition with artificial intelligence (AI), algorithms and AI training.
The software recognizes lay length, waviness, diameter, wire breakage and corrosion. AMC Instrument in turn supplies with the carrier medium that explores the inner workings of the rope. We are working together on digital instruments for rope inspection, specifically on all-in-one real-time monitoring with images and videos.
The Alliance for Intelligent Rope Monitoring (AIM) tool is the first to combine artificial intelligence (AI) with magnetic inductive rope testing (MRT) and geometric rope measurement, also known as Geometric LED Detector (GLD). Our goal: to monitor high-performance ropes efficiently and permanently.
