We connect what moves

Teufelberger is an internationally active group of companies headquartered in Wels, Austria. Since its founding in 1790, the family-owned business has evolved over seven generations from a one-man hemp rope operation into a leading manufacturer of fiber ropes, wire ropes, and strapping solutions—driven by close customer relationships and continuous innovation.

Our three divisions—Fiber Rope, Wire Rope, and Strapping Solutions—create the ideal foundation to cover a wide range of applications while strategically leveraging synergies. The technological diversity within the company also provides the basis for high flexibility and stable structures—even in dynamic market environments. This makes us a reliable and adaptable partner for our customers.

As a key anchor, the Teufelberger family ensures long-term direction and stability. For generations, they have shaped the company with responsibility, continuity, and clear values. Their deep connection to the business and the mindset developed over decades form the foundation for sustainable growth and strategic decisions with foresight.

With around 1,400 employees at 14 locations worldwide, we rely on deep expertise, continuous development, and long-term partnerships. Quality, reliability, and innovative strength are the cornerstones of our success.
