Rope slippage in the rope drive sheave can occur in very demanding areas like size presses, coating stations and calenders. The HighTraction-versions offer outstanding traction on metal surfaces combined with the highest possible paper grip at machine speeds up to 1.800 m/min.

Depending on the paper grade we recommend our patented special ropes Extreme HT or Protector HT. Some multifunctional fibers are added to the strong net of monofilaments which effectively prevent rope slippage in the rope drive sheave.

We recommend Extreme HT for heavy paper grades and Protector HT for light and medium paper grades.
