This new Flexifirm Core Technology results in a lightweight 11 mm climbing line that stays firm and round, while permitting spliced eyes in one or both ends of the line using a double-braid splice. Tachyon’s firm yet flexible design with its 24-strand braided polyester cover significantly improves friction hitch performance without “bagginess”. The inner core keeps the diameter constant, even under load, for improved grip with less hand fatigue.
