- 1790: Establishment of the TEUFELBERGER hemp ropery at Bad Wimsbach, Austria
- 1901: Relocation of the company to Wels, Austria
- 1961: Shift from the use of natural to synthetic fibers
- 1987: Startup of production of TEUFELBERGER Seil Ges.m.b.H. at its new site in Wels
- 1991: Purchase of the marine cordage segment of the Germany-based FSE Ges.m.b.H.
- 1997: Production of the first polyester strapping
- 1998: Opening of the rope-making plant in Veselí nad Lužnicí, Czech Republic
- 1999: Purchase of the marine cordage segment of the Denmark-based Roblon
- 2001: Takeover of the wire rope plant of Voestalpine-Austria Draht in Sankt Aegyd, Austria
- 2007: Acquisition of New England Ropes, Fall River, U.S.
- 2007: Opening of the Rope Technology Centers at our Boehmerwaldstrasse location in Wels
